Dr Bill Oberdan

Dr Oberdan established Max Oral Surgery in 2014.

He has been providing expert patient care since graduating from Medical School at the University of Adelaide in 1997.

Following his internship, he remained at the Royal Adelaide Hospital to complete postgraduate training in the Basic General Surgical Training Program.

He then returned to the University of Adelaide Dental School to pursue a career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. This involved further specialty training with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS).

Since 2011 he has been providing outstanding services as a fully qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.

He has also completed further advanced training in Dental Implantology through the Global Institute of Dental Education and the UCLA, where he finished in the top of his class.

His main interests include wisdom teeth surgery, dental implant surgery and its associated grafting procedures and Corrective Jaw Surgery.

He has contributed to the refinement of innovative 3D planning, which he utilises in all his implant surgery and corrective jaw surgery. This ensures an optimised aesthetic and functional outcome for all his patients is achieved.

Dr Oberdan understands the unique requirements of his patients, and will ensure attention to detail in every procedure he performs.

When he is not operating, Dr Oberdan enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He enjoys participating in all sports and encouraging his young family to do the same. He is also an avid photographer and is always seeking to capture the beauty of nature, in all his travels both local and abroad.
